SHOCKING: Man City could destroy Man United’s £60m transfer moves for with Bruno Guimaraes knock-on effect

Newcastle are purportedly growing increasingly concerned that Manchester City will submit a “irresistible” offer for midfielder Bruno Guimaraes, which would result in the loss of their star midfielder and a significant setback to Manchester United, City’s neighbours.

Eddie Howe’s organisation has publicly acknowledged that they have been cautious in their recruitment efforts as a result of the Premier League’s profit and sustainability regulations. These regulations have prevented Newcastle from spending as liberally as they would like following their investment from the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund.

Nevertheless, City may soon be able to exercise that freedom if they satisfy the rumoured £100 million clause in Guimaraes’ contract, a possibility that Newcastle believes is becoming increasingly probable, according to the Northern Echo.

In March, Pep Guardiola expressed his enthusiasm for Guimaraes and expressed his desire to secure a long-term midfielder companion for Rodri. The legendary head coach declared, “He is an exceptional holding midfielder.”

“He is aggressive regardless of whether he has the ball or not.” He is a genuine, all-around holding midfielder who is aggressive at set-pieces.

And if Guardiola is able to secure Guimaraes in what could be the Catalan manager’s final season at City, it would leave Newcastle in a state of disarray, but with a substantial amount of money to spend in the remaining window.
Suddenly, they would be able to provide more competitive financial contracts to their targets, including Crystal Palace’s Michael Olise. Is a player that Manchester United is also interested in, with a release clause of approximately £60 million his own?

Additional competition for another Premier League star in Olise would be unlikely to be welcomed as the Red Devils first attempt to reinforce Erik ten Hag’s defence, having already agreed personal terms with £75m-rated Everton centre-back Jarrad Branthwaite.

Manchester City and Guimaraes have the potential to provide Newcastle with £100m, which will allow them to proceed with their recruitment of Olise without the residual concerns of the top-flight’s financial regulations.

However, Howe has disclosed that City will be required to act promptly in order to secure Guimaraes for Guardiola, as the clause is scheduled to expire at the end of June. “The Newcastle manager stated that the renovation of his Brazilian star’s contract was well-organized and structured, with a specified end point.”

“We do not desire a summer marred by speculation.” I am of the opinion that this would be detrimental to both the player and our organisation.

However, the red side of Manchester may not be in the best position to pursue a swift resolution, as they may need to sell Jadon Sancho and Mason Greenwood before pursuing another right-winger.

Chelsea is also a potential contender for Olise’s signature, which could result in two more formidable opponents for his signature when United present their proposal to the Palace star.
