SHOCKING: Chelsea target Michael Olise reportedly slammed for snubbing the blues in shocking turn of events

Several prominent organisations are expressing interest in Michael Olise this summer.

Last summer, Michael Olise was criticised by Paul Merson for declining Chelsea’s interest and committing his future to Crystal Palace. He may be unable to resist this time around.

In the forthcoming months, the playmaker has been frequently associated with a departure from Selhurst Park, with Bayern Munich, Liverpool, and both Manchester clubs among his increasing number of admirers.

Despite Olise’s rejection just one year ago, Chelsea has reignited their interest in the Frenchman and has shortlisted him as one of their top targets to bolster their ranks ahead of the upcoming season.

The Blues were in the process of negotiating a deal that would have activated Olise’s then-release clause, which was valued at £35 million. However, negotiations were abruptly halted when it was revealed that the winger had inked a contract extension with Palace.

The decision left former Arsenal player Merson in a state of astonishment, as he stated in an interview with Sky Sports: “I was shocked.” The reason could have been that he was at Chelsea prior to that.

“However, my primary objective is to advance in the organisation; it is imperative to capitalise on the current circumstances.” A few poor performances can cause form to fluctuate rapidly.

“We are discussing Zaha, who was available for a free transfer eight, nine, or ten months ago. Who was going to acquire him?” He was unable to return to Manchester United; will Arsenal accept him? Tottenham may acquire him in the event that they fail to do so.

“Suddenly, without any respect, he is playing for Galatasaray in the Turkish league, and you are quite taken aback.” I trust that the child has correctly understood the situation.

Olise’s decision to commit to a more extensive campaign with Palace was undoubtedly fruitful, as he went on to score 10 goals and record six assists in 19 Premier League appearances. After Oliver Glasner’s appointment, the 22-year-old also experienced a period of exceptional performance in the latter stages of the campaign, and his extraordinary performances undoubtedly solidified his status as a shop window player.

However, Palace’s departure this summer is not guaranteed, despite the significant interest. Olise’s new release clause, which is widely regarded as “complicated” but is estimated to be in the vicinity of £60 million, grants him a substantial influence over the decision-making process. He is not anticipated to leave the club if he is not completely convinced by the projects at other clubs.
