Fans of Everton will be very upset with how their team played again today. To make things worse, Sean Dyche has confirmed that one of his players has been hurt.

Last time out, the Toffees got lucky when Beto scored a late goal against Fulham. It looked like they would get lucky again against Southampton when the striker scored in the 89th minute.

They had to deal with VAR, though, because they said there was an offside in the buildup to the goal.

There is no doubt that Everton fans are not happy with the call. Some say it wasn’t offside, while others are upset with how little advantage was given to the defender.

That’s not the only thing that will worry Everton fans, though. After the game, Sean Dyche revealed that one of his players had been hit.

Sean Dyche says Everton is worried about injuries after their game with Southampton.
Before the game, Sean Dyche said that Abdoulaye Doucoure couldn’t play because of an issue and that Jesper Lindstrom didn’t feel fully fit but still started.

Now Everton has even more to worry about because one of their star players got hurt in the game against Southampton.

Sean Dyche’s report was shared by the official Everton account on X, which said that Iliman Ndiaye was taken off as a precaution after getting hit in the second half.

Iliman Ndiaye’s value to Everton this season

Undoubtedly, Iliman Ndiaye has been one of Everton’s best players so far this season.

Sean Dyche ignored the wishes of Everton fans who wanted Ndiaye to play in the middle by choosing Dwight McNeil today, which didn’t work out.

Since Jack Harrison, Jesper Lindstrom, and Dwight McNeil can all play on the left, Dyche should put Ndiaye where he can have the most impact on the game, since he wasn’t getting enough options.

In the last game against Fulham, Ndiaye was one of the few bright spots for Everton, according to both Jamie Redknapp and Louis Saha.
