The Telegraph reports that Saudi Arabian clubs are anticipated to rekindle their interest in Manchester United outcast Jadon Sancho prior to the January transfer window.

The Middle Eastern country, which is flush with free money, may provide the England international with an opportunity to flee Old Trafford after a turbulent few months.

According to the Telegraph, the Saudi Pro League is finalizing preparations for the upcoming transfer window, while clubs are contemplating a renewed challenge to the Premier League in the coming year.

Sancho is among the players who, following a reportedly irreparable dispute with Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag, could board the money train in the Gulf state.

Throughout the summer, Saudi clubs expressed interest in the 23-year-old, who may be presented with an additional opportunity to earn a substantial salary in the Middle East.

Nevertheless, it is uncertain whether the England international, who declined their advances last summer, will be receptive to the transfer in January, particularly in light of his current predicament at the Theatre of Dreams.

Al-Ettifaq, which is led by Steven Gerrard, were among the clubs interested in signing Sancho, and given their struggles in the Saudi Pro League, they could be among the Saudi clubs competing for his signature in January.

The seventh-place club in the Saudi Pro League with 22 points from 13 games, the Dammam club could benefit from a member of Sancho’s caliber and vitality.

Since August, Sancho has been absent from any matchday squad for Manchester United, and the Red Devils have deemed him expendable due to his dispute with Ten Hag.

Following his denial of an apology for a contentious social media post in which he falsely accused his manager of criticizing his training performances and fabricating his absence from the loss at Arsenal, he was exiled.

Sancho’s abysmal tenure at Old Trafford came to an end with his expulsion from Man United’s WhatsApp group and his three Premier League appearances this season.
