Even though new head coach Ruben Amorim is coming soon, Ruud van Nistelrooy has said he wants to stay at Manchester United.

After Erik ten Hag was fired last week, the former striker took over as interim boss. He wants to be on Amorim’s coaching staff when he gets there from Sporting CP on November 11. As reported by Premier League Productions, Van Nistelrooy, who started working for Ten Hag this summer, talked about his feelings with former teammate Paul Scholes.

There’s no question that Van Nistelrooy wanted to be a manager before he joined United. I thought this was a great chance when United came in with it.

I put my plans to become a manager on hold because I wanted to be here. My choice to come here and help out was a conscious one.

It says in The Mirror He said: “I just want to stay and do the same thing and, for me, that’s my focus for the moment.”

It’s still not clear who Amorim will have in his back office because he wants to bring in some of his own people from Sporting. But it’s clear that Van Nistelrooy wants to stay at Old Trafford.

Diogo Dalot told Sky Sports that he liked Van Nistelrooy’s style and thought he should stay in charge. According to him, “I believe he has that quality.

“He can be on both sides because he knows how to do each job, and if the club decides to bring him here, I will be happy to do so.” He clearly wants to win; that’s what matters to him most.

But he’s also trying to feel good and give off good vibes to the people watching. Get excited about the game and come to Old Trafford. At least let the people know that we are giving our all for the club.
