Basketball
Right now, nothing can stop Kentucky. Jackson State tried, but it didn’t work.
Their opponents are apparently putting everything at the Kentucky Wildcats to slow them down because they are so good at basketball.
One example is what happened on Friday night when Jackson State’s Dylan Canoville threw a shoe at Brandon Garrison as he was moving for a slam dunk and Kentucky beat them 108–59.
Canoville lost his shoe while he was driving to the basket. Seriously, he deserves praise for not giving up on the next play and doing everything he could to stop Garrison from making the slam dunk.
Three times this season, the Wildcats have scored 100 points or more. While Garrison only scored six points on Friday night, he tied Amari Williams for the team lead with eight boards. In addition to having three stops and three steals, Garrison had six assists, which was second on the team.
Kentucky is playing again. Wednesday at 6:30 PM ET to host Western Kentucky.
