REVEALED: Experts reveal Saudi clubs are willing to pay whooping sum of £100m for Man City star

Journalist Ben Jacobs claims that Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne is still a major transfer target for Saudi Arabian teams.

After a fantastic career with Man City, the seasoned Belgium international has accomplished nearly everything in the game, so it’s probably not too shocking to hear rumors that he would decide to end his career on a high salary at a slightly lesser level.

Many well-known people have just relocated to Saudi Arabia, and according to Jacobs, they aren’t scared to launch a bold bid for De Bruyne, potentially for as much as £100 million.

In an exclusive interview with CaughtOffside for his Daily Briefing column, Jacobs revealed that De Bruyne’s chances of moving this summer may not be as high as previously thought.

One concern for De Bruyne this summer is Euro 2024; he might not have as much time to work out an agreement with Saudi Arabia, as the 32-year-old is unlikely to want to let a summer romance divert his attention while he’s at a significant international competition.

“Saudi Arabia is still interested in Kevin De Bruyne, but the Belgian has not yet indicated that he wants to leave Manchester City.” The summer transfer window is potentially more difficult to navigate because of Euro 2024. According to Jacobs, players such as De Bruyne will concentrate solely on that competition, with the season commencing soon after.

“De Bruyne is not the type of athlete who enjoys having doubts about his future. If he were to relocate, he would prefer to do so in advance of the season’s start as opposed to near the conclusion of the window. It has long been evident that Manchester City wants him to stay.

Saudi negotiators are ready to exercise patience. If they believe they have no chance this summer, they will attempt for De Bruyne in 2025. Saudi officials, however, are willing to offer Manchester City more than £100 million and will keep holding meetings with the De Bruyne camp until he signs a contract.

Although it’s a daring move to pull off, the Saudi initiative isn’t scared to attempt such audacious maneuvers.
