Manchester United
Report: Manchester United are currently preparing a double raid to recruit £119 million stars.
Morten Hjulmand and Goncalo Inacio, who are valued at a combined £119 million (140 million euros), are the targets of Manchester United’s upcoming double assault.
Last night, we reported on a story from Record that suggested the Red Devils are in the best position to pursue the central defender, for whom the Lions are seeking a fee of 60 million euros (£51 million).
In addition to Inacio, Manchester United are also considering the possibility of hiring Hjulmand from the Lions, according to the most recent edition of O Jogo (news image provided below).
The Red Devils are seeking a revolution in the summer transfer window to compete for the Premier League title next season and are interested in the Liga Nos duo.
Hjulmand is under contract until 2028 and has a release clause of 80 million euros (£68 million). Sporting president Frederico Varandas and his colleagues are unwilling to relinquish this sum in order to permit the player to depart this summer.
Ruben Amorim’s supervision of the 24-year-old star resulted in his exceptional performance in the defensive midfield position.
He played in 28 league games and contributed to the team’s 14 clean sheet records, which enabled them to secure the championship.
Additionally, the Danish international, who has been awarded five caps, contributed four goals and an equal number of assists to the Portuguese titans.
The Old Trafford team must strengthen their defensive line and recruit a top-tier playmaker to replace Casemiro.
In such a situation, should Manchester United allocate the necessary funds to recruit Inacio and Hjulmand?
