As the 21-year-old wheeled away in front of the Stretford End, he took off his shirt while celebrating. This got him a second yellow card from referee David Brooks. Not long after he came on, Amad got a yellow card for blocking Liverpool from taking a quick free kick.

In order to get to Wembley for the semi-final on April 20 or 21, United had to work hard. The first goal was scored by Scott McTominay, who stabbed it home from close range. Just before halftime, Alexis Mac Allister and Mohamed Salah put the away team ahead.

Last-minute replacement Antony tied the game, sending the FA Cup quarterfinal to extra time. Harvey Elliott, though, gave Erik ten Hag’s team the lead again, and they had to come back from behind.
