Real Madrid ready to offer €80 million-plus for Liverpool player
Currently, Real Madrid are among the most impressive teams in Europe, notwithstanding the evident challenges they face in terms of squad depth and injuries.
While the club deserves considerable praise for that, it is not an optimal situation. We also witnessed them get off to an impressive start to the previous season, only to watch them decline in the second half. Hopefully, they will be able to maintain the tempo this time.
It is desirable that Real Madrid strengthen their roster during the forthcoming transfer windows. There are a number of positions in which their options are limited.
Eventually, the club will need to locate a permanent replacement for Dani Carvajal. Furthermore, one of Liverpool’s top players seems to be in their sights. Real Madrid, according to Fichajes, would be open to extending an offer in excess of €80 million for Trent Alexander-Arnold.
It is anticipated that Trent’s present contract with Liverpool will expire in the summer of 2025. Moreover, an extension with his boyhood club has not yet been signed.
Trent has been subject to considerable criticism regarding his defensive expertise over the course of time. Despite this, he has remained an indispensable member of Liverpool, who remain one of the top teams in the Premier League.
Trent is, moving forward, one of the most proficient and formidable fullbacks in our history. Moreover, although he appears to have been around for quite some time, the Liverpool player is only 25 years old. Consequently, it is highly probable that he has not yet attained his peak performance.
Future action regarding Real Madrid’s pursuit of Trent is still unknown. However, he is not the only right-back with whom they have been associated recently.
