Real Madrid intend to sign two additional players this summer following Mbappe deal as per reports
Real Madrid made the official announcement of the acquisition of Kylian Mbappe shortly after their victory in the UEFA Champions League final against Borussia Dortmund earlier this month.
Los Blancos have confirmed that an agreement has been reached to sign the French icon as a free agent, thereby concluding a transfer saga that has persisted for years. However, they did not provide any additional information.
With Mbappe’s debut, Real Madrid has elevated their squad, which was already exceptional, to the next level. Nevertheless, the current champions of Spain and Europe are not yet finished.
Los Blancos intend to make at least two additional signings following the debut of Mbappe, as reported by journalist Alberto Pereiro.
Currently, the plan is for the two signings to be Alphonso Davies of Bayern Munich and Leny Yoro of LOSC Lille.
Real Madrid must recruit a new center-back, and all indications are that Yoro will be the player of choice, given the departure of Nacho Fernandez and the imminent sale of Rafa Marin.
It is believed that the 18-year-old has already reached an agreement with Los Blancos; however, negotiations with his club are currently proving to be challenging.
In the interim, Davies is considered the most desirable candidate for the left-back position, despite the fact that Real Madrid has Fran Garcia and Ferland Mendy as other viable options.
Despite recent reports that the Merengues have ceased their pursuit of the Canadian, this is not the case, and the club is still determined to secure his services from Bayern Munich.
Davies’ arrival could potentially allow one of Mendy or Garcia to depart the Santiago Bernabeu.
Real Madrid has also lost Toni Kroos as a result of his retirement following the UCL victory. However, there are currently no plans to actively seek a replacement for the German icon.
Similarly, Los Blancos do not intend to acquire a replacement, despite the fact that Joselu is scheduled to depart for Qatar shortly.
The attacking department appears to be exceedingly well-prepared for the upcoming season, given the additions of Mbappe and Endrick.
