Premier League stars Jadon Sancho and Sterling make late deadline transfer moves and every deal sealed on transfer deadline day
It has been a busy Transfer Deadline Day in the Premier League, but only Jadon Sancho has been discussed, as the Manchester United star is seeking to depart the Red Devils.
Transfer Deadline Day is imminent; therefore, it is imperative that you prepare with yellow ties.
Jadon Sancho has been the sole name that has been on everyone’s lips. Despite reconciling with Erik ten Hag following their disagreement last season, the 24-year-old Manchester United player has been the subject of the day’s headlines.
Nevertheless, he was not the sole prominent figure in the limelight; Raheem Sterling, Ivan Toney, and Victor Osimhen were all central to their respective narratives on Friday.
Chelsea, the beleaguered Premier League heavyweights, are currently being reported by Sky Sports to be considering the possibility of transferring Sterling to their London rivals, Arsenal. However, Blues’ supporters need not be concerned; your first-team roster will remain substantial, as Sancho may be on his way to Stamford Bridge.
Neal Maupay, the Premier League’s resident wind-up merchant, was the first to depart, transferring from Everton to Marseille. This occurred mere days after he was confronted by enraged supporters while travelling home with the rest of the Toffees squad.
Aaron Ramsdale was also in the process of transferring clubs, returning to Southampton from Arsenal after experiencing a lack of favour at the Emirates Stadium.
Scott McTominay’s transfer to Napoli was eventually finalised, and the Italian club also pursued Romelu Lukaku the day before. Stefan Bajcetic, a youthful player from Liverpool, has also been sent out on loan to acquire experience outside of Merseyside.
The Daily Star Sport has now published a comprehensive summary of all the transactions that were completed on Deadline Day.
