OU Breaking News: Ella Parker (Sophomore) and Kasidi Pickering (Sophomore) were named NFCA First-Team All-Americans in the country as they dominate the League.

NORMAN The future of Oklahoma softball is here, and it’s scary good. Sophomores Ella Parker and Kasidi Pickering have been named NFCA First-Team All-Americans, cementing their status as two of the most dangerous players in the country.

The dynamic duo played pivotal roles in OU’s historic 2025 season, leading the Sooners to a52-9 record, an SEC Championship, and yet another trip to the Women’s College World Series (WCWS). Now, they’re being recognized among the elite—joining just 15 other playersnationwide on the prestigious First Team.

Parker & Pickering: A Fearsome Pair

– Ella Parker (INF/UTL) – The human highlight reel did it all for OU, delivering clutch hits, web gems in the field, and game-changing energy. Her versatility and power made her unsuitable at times.

– Kasidi Pickering (OF) – A five-tool superstar, Pickering mashed homers, robbed hits in the outfield, and terrorized pitchers with her next-level speed. She was the sparkplug in OU’s relentless offense.

Making History… Again

This isn’t the first time these two have dominated awards season. Both were 2024 Freshman All-Americans, but now, they’ve taken their game to another level. With two more years of eligibility left, the rest of college softball should be on notice.

Sooners Shine in All-America Honors

Parker and Pickering weren’t the only Sooners honored pitcher Sam Landry (Second Team) and utility player Gabbie Garcia (Third Team) also earned All-America nods. OU’s four total selections were among the most of any program in 2025.

What’s Next?

With Patty Gasso at the helm and young stars like Parker and Pickering leading the charge, Oklahoma’s dynasty isn’t slowing down. Can they reclaim the national title in 2026? One thing’s for sure these two sophomores will be at the heart of it all.
