Everton
One Everton player, the “real leader,” says James Tarkowski should be captain instead of him.
The last three games have been great for Everton fans, who have seen their team start to turn things around.
Everton lost their first four Premier League games under Sean Dyche’s management, which was a terrible start to the 2024–25 season.
With five points from their last three games, the Toffees have finally been able to get back on track.
That’s enough to get the Blues out of the relegation zone, but they can’t take it easy just yet because the race to stay in the league is still very close.
On the other hand, James Tarkowski’s praise for one of the real stars on Merseyside suggests that everyone at the club is in a good mood.
At Everton, James Tarkowski talked about Seamus Coleman.
Dyche has been counting on his experienced players, like Tarkowski, to help Everton get out of their current problems.
As a result, Everton’s leader Seamus Coleman has been hurt for most of the season.
The Irishman’s only Premier League game was 90 minutes, which happened in the disappointing loss to Bournemouth.
Tarkowski went on and on about how great Coleman is as a leader in an interview with the Everton website.
He’s always there for me if I need to lean on him when I need to talk or get help with something. “For me, I’m there to help Shay because he’s the real leader, and I back him up wherever I can,” he said.
“Look, Shay’s love and passion for this football club are unmatched by anyone I’ve met.” You wouldn’t believe how much he loves the Club. First, people listen when he talks.
“He had something to say in the locker room during halftime against Crystal Palace. Shay has had a few times when he felt like he needed to say something while I was here. People from other teams do talk, but I think when Shay talks, people really listen because you can feel it.
