Manchester United give injury update on Rasmus Hojlund and Christian Eriksen
United experienced a double injury concern during their Premier League victory over Luton Town, which ended 1-0.
Before Manchester United can ascertain the complete extent of the injuries sustained by Rasmus Hojlund and Christian Eriksen in their victory over Luton, a 24-hour delay will elapse.
United’s injury issues persisted on Saturday afternoon at Old Trafford, where both the Danish duo of Eriksen and Hojlund were substituted off. The victory was a 1-0 one.
In the final minutes of the first half, Eriksen was substituted with Mason Mount holding his knee, whereas Hojlund twice fell down clutching his hamstring before being substituted with approximately 10 minutes remaining.
The fact that United are currently commencing a two-week international break alleviates their immediate concerns; however, they will be expecting to have both players available upon their return to action.
When queried about the most recent injury concern, Ten Hag provided limited insight into the gravity of their setbacks: “At this time, I am unable to provide any commentary regarding it due to my ignorance of the assessment.
“Paid time is twenty-four hours.” “Allow them and the medical team twenty-four hours to determine the nature of the issue, should one exist.”
When queried about the persistent injury concerns at the club, Ten Hag highlighted the detrimental effects that the accumulation of setbacks has had on the development of momentum and a cohesive playing style.
He continued, “Our season is littered with injuries.” As a result, you possess a squad; however, we have extensively discussed this matter. “With any luck, players will return soon and those new injuries won’t be too severe.”
