Kobbie Mainoo might play his first game for England on Saturday against Brazil.

As Kobbie Mainoo continues to grow, Erik ten Hag and his teachers at Manchester United have pointed out two things he can do better.

Mainoo, who is 18, is already one of the best young players in the Premier League. He could play his first game for England against Brazil at Wembley on Saturday.

This week, Mainoo was added to the senior team after England boss Gareth Southgate changed his mind.

He didn’t include Mainoo in his team at first for the games against Brazil and Belgium, but then he changed his mind and called him up from the U21 group.

The player has come a long way since his first game in the Premier League for United in November.

Mainoo has only played 23 times for United so far, but it’s clear that the midfielder has a lot of promise.

For United, “they’ve been very happy with his progress,” but the Times says they think his game “still needs work.”

“This season, Ten Hag told him that Mainoo should ask for the ball more. It is thought that he could also do better with his creative passes in the final third, the report said.

On Saturday, everyone will be at Wembley to see if Southgate will give Mainoo his first start for England as an adult.

And the midfielder could still switch his nationality to Ghana, where his parents were born. The England boss might want to play him to show that he believes in his skills.

This week, Mainoo talked about the strange way he learned about being called up to play for England’s adult team.

Instead of getting the usual phone call, Mainoo was told in person when he showed up for the U21 team.

What Mainoo said to England’s official X account: “I was called up to the U21s and then got a text from Steve Holland [assistant manager].” I was told to meet him at the front desk because I had been called up and would be with the team for the week.
