Manchester United coach Erik ten Hag furiously got angry with an interviewer after Chelsea vs Manchester United match
Erik ten Hag was not in a pleasant mood following Manchester United’s last-gasp 4-3 Premier League loss to Chelsea.
While observing Manchester United succumb to Chelsea in a startling late 4-3 loss, Erik ten Hag dismissed a television interviewer’s “ridiculous” suggestion. After his side, for the second consecutive match, squandered a lead in the concluding moments of stoppage time, the United manager was not in a good mood.
After a remarkable comeback was completed by Alejandro Garnacho’s brace either side of Bruno Fernandes’ header, it appeared that Ten Hag had secured a crucial victory at Stamford Bridge.
After 19 minutes, Conor Gallagher and Cole Palmer gave Chelsea a two-goal advantage, but United leveled the score before halftime.
Garnacho scored the game-winning goal for the visitors, assisted by Antony’s magnificent trivela pass. They maintained the lead until the sixth minute of the extra-time added on at the conclusion of the match.
Then, Diogo Dalot brought Noni Madueke down inside the box, and Palmer, much to the delight of the Stamford Bridge crowd, equalized the score in the 100th minute with his second penalty of the match.

Incredibly, in west London, United fell unconscious at a Chelsea corner kick shortly thereafter, allowing the 21-year-old to complete his hat trick and seize all three points.
Ten Hag’s setup has been criticized for its susceptibility to shots throughout the current season. The situation was identical in the face of Chelsea, who scored 28 and ten of those were on target.
However, following a TV interviewer’s implication that Ten Hag’s strategy was not sustainable, the Dutchman responded by dismissing the remark as “ridiculous” and defending United’s defensive record.
He stated on TNT Sports, “Such a claim that it is unsustainable is absurd.” Prior to tonight, we demonstrated that we ranked fourth [best] in terms of goals conceded; since then, everyone is discussing the attempts.
“We are good, and we have good defending as a team and a good goalkeeper so I cannot do nothing.”
Before the 4-3 loss to Chelsea, United had allowed 40 league goals in 29 games, a mark only surpassed by title contenders Arsenal (24), Liverpool (28), and Manchester City (29).
Ten Hag further stated that he believed the Red Devils were deserving of their Stamford Bridge victory. He was, nevertheless, once more relegated to obstructing his team’s late-game management.
“We did begin inadequately, kicking the ball away and performing inadequate defense. “However, as you could see, we dominated the game, and our performance was outstanding; we deserved to win,” Ten Hag elaborated.
“However, it cannot be given away as carefree as we did; we must improve our game management.” You may highlight a specific individual, but the discussion remains on the overall performance of the team.
“You must deal with chaos as a group, and we failed to assist one another and made the incorrect decisions when the situation became tumultuous.
“Due to our lack of possession, we erred in our judgment by failing to concentrate. Additionally, I believe we were fortunate in the final penalty situation, which was extremely mild and questionable, but we must do better.”
