Manchester City sporting director Txiki Begiristain reveals the outcome of Champions League match between Real Madrid vs Man City – who to win
In addition, Begiristain, the director of football for City, is looking forward to the matchup with Real. He was referring to the semifinal match that City won 5-1 on aggregate during the previous season. Notably, City won the second leg of the match at the Etihad Stadium by a commanding score of 4-0.
“We have been playing them a while now in the last few seasons,” he said to reporters. We are all able to recall the incredible moment when we defeated them in the semifinals of the previous year.
When we faced them at home in the second leg of the previous season, we played a game that was really outstanding. They are the best team in the league, and we are aware of how powerful they are. It is true that they have good players, that they play good football, and that they have one of the top players in the business.
Begiristain responded with a straightforward “Yes, why not?” when he was asked if City could keep their title.
The following is what he had to say: “We are doing very well in this competition and winning matches.”
Mentally, we are powerful and have a plenty of self-assurance. It is going to be necessary for us to win against Real Madrid. We are certain since we have been battling for this competition over the past few years, and we were successful in winning it last year. With any luck, we will be able to continue our winning streak.
