Manchester City midfielder Phil Foden break silence and send a brutal message to Liverpool and Arsenal concerning the premier league title
star for Manchester City Phil Foden has said some very big things about the team at Etihad Stadium as they try to win more titles.
Following yet another win, Man City have now gone 22 games without losing. Their last loss was to Aston Villa in December, when they failed to get a result. Foden’s play has been a big reason why Pep Guardiola’s team has won 19 straight games. During the 2023–24 season, the England player scored 18 goals and set up 10 others.
Foden has done well in a central spot when Kevin De Bruyne isn’t playing, but he has also done well when he has been pushed out wide. Guardiola said a lot about the 23-year-old after the 3-1 win over Manchester United. This was after the player scored twice in the Manchester Derby.
Guardiola said, “Right now, he is the best in the league.” “You need to win games to be world class. He’s getting wins. It used to be that he got goals, but now he wins games. You get to a new level as a player when you do this.
“He will already be a legendary player because of how many games he played, how long he played, how many goals he scored, and how many titles he won. Plus, he’s from here, which makes his connection with the fans even stronger.”
“He’s been the best player all season.” No disrespect to the other great players, but he has been so important to us this season. Even though Foden couldn’t play against the Magpies, he was very happy with his recent play and sent a clear message to Arsenal and Liverpool after the game.
He told ITV, “I thought we had a great handle on the game.” “We had a lot of the ball and tried to attack at the right time. I think we did a great job of that.” We talked about getting more prizes all the time. Still hungry. We are going to keep going.
“This is one of the best teams I’ve ever seen.” We’ll need everyone at this point in the season. I’m very pleased with it. And I’m just playing with a smile on my face. I hope I can keep doing that.”
After Manchester City beat Newcastle in the FA Cup, Phil Foden sent a word to Arsenal and Liverpool in a roundabout way. Arsenal and Liverpool are also in the running for the Premier League title. Two goals from Bernardo Silva in the first half at Etihad Stadium were enough for Man City to make it to the semi-finals.
