Man Utd midfielder must leave in January if he is ignored after Eriksen injury blow

Donny van de Beek, a midfielder for Manchester United, is required to depart the club in January should manager Erik ten Hag continue to disregard him in the aftermath of Christian Eriksen’s injury.

Following the recent 1-0 Premier League victory over Luton Town, the Dane sustained a knee injury, and the club has confirmed he will miss the next month of action.

Casemiro, who is also sidelined, has contracted a hamstring injury. Ten Hag has previously declared that his return to competitive action will not occur before Christmas.

The duo’s injuries might benefit Mason Mount and Sofyan Amrabat directly. The former will be striving for consistent playing time, following a challenging start at United.

Preceding his hamstring injury, the England international was a consistent starter at the outset of the current campaign. While he has since appeared in cameos, he should now be given his opportunity.

Donny van de Beek, meanwhile, is a neglected midfielder for Manchester United, having failed to make the matchday squad in each of the previous six contests.

The Dutchman was linked with a move away from Old Trafford following his return from a knee injury last summer. Lacking compelling proposals awaited his consideration.

After only twenty-one minutes, the decision to remain has not been valuable. He should gather his belongings and depart in January, in our opinion, should he continue to be ignored.

Due to Eriksen’s injury, Van de Beek has been added to the squad for the matchday. As an innovative central midfielder, he will be anticipating additional playing time following halftime.

It would be illogical for him to remain with the club if that is not the case, given that he has no prospects for the future. A loan termination with a purchase option could be the most effective way for United to dispose of him this winter.
