At Old Trafford, Manchester United is experiencing a great deal of optimism due to the presence of two junior players who are at varying stages of the academy process.

According to reports, Manchester United has high expectations for two academy players who have the potential to emulate the success of Kobbie Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho.

United has long been proud of their capacity to cultivate world-class talent through their academy, which ultimately contributes to the first team squad in the future. The Class of ’92 is the most notable example, as the likes of Gary Neville, Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs, and David Beckham have etched their names into the club’s folklore.

Although the Reds have not had a class as distinguished as that in recent years, certain academy players have continued to have significant impacts on the team. The Daily Mail reports that a few inexperienced players are being considered for the next step into the first team.

Sekou Kone is the initial subject. On the day of the deadline, the Mali international arrived at Old Trafford for a sum estimated at approximately £1 million.

It is recognised that Kone is receiving special attention to prevent him from experiencing feelings of isolation in a foreign country. He is rumoured to be residing with “house parents,” and United promptly arranged a team supper for him with other academy players to facilitate the process of forming friendships.

Marcus Rashford also introduced himself to Kone while he observed United’s U23s defeat Blackburn Rovers in the Premier League 2.

Gabriele Biancheri, a 17-year-old centre-forward, is a player who is significantly closer to the first team squad.

In February 2023, the Welshman relocated from Cardiff City and has since made an immediate impact at his new club. Erik ten Hag has extended an invitation to him to train with the first team, as he has scored two goals in as many matches in the U18 Premier League.

Director Jason Wilcox is also closely monitoring Biancheri to guarantee that his transition into regular first-team football is as smooth as feasible.
