Jack Grealish’s season with Manchester City has been subpar, but he may be transferred in the coming weeks.

Jack Grealish’s season for Manchester City has been subpar by his own estimation, but GIVEMESPORT sources have exclusively learned that the star will remain at the Etihad Stadium despite rumors of a transfer.

This season, the star has contributed to just three goals and three assists across all competitions for the Premier League champions. His performance has been met with some dissatisfaction from the supporters, which has prompted rumors of an exit. However, according to GIVEMESPORT sources, Grealish, whom Pep Guardiola describes as “one of the best,” will remain at the Etihad Stadium following crucial discussions with Guardiola.

Grealish’s credentials have recently attracted the attention of Tottenham Hotspur; however, the completion of a transfer is still far off, and given the England international’s reputedly high price (with City hoping to recoup the majority of their £100 million investment in the wide man), it would take City actively attempting to eliminate Grealish for a transfer to take place.

Aston Villa, his former club, has also been linked with a transfer in pursuit of his services; however, that deal also appears to be a long way off, given the impressive performances of Moussa Diaby, Leon Bailey, and Morgan Rogers at Villa Park.

Despite rumors of discontent regarding his tenure at the Etihad Stadium, Grealish is set to remain with the Citizens for the 2024/25 season, according to sources exclusively to GIVEMESPORT.

His future at Manchester has been called into question following a season that was merely average under Pep Guardiola. He was an unused substitute for their most important contests, and he appears to have fallen behind Jeremy Doku in the pecking order at the reigning Premier League champions. Doku has started 18 Premier League games, while Gary Grealish has started 10. In the event that Kevin de Bruyne, Bernardo Silva, and himself are required to form the front three, Phil Foden is also utilized.

However, sources have disclosed that discussions have occurred between Grealish and the management team regarding the latter part of the season. Spanish manager Guardiola is reportedly extremely pleased with Grealish in his entirety, as the winger intends to remain at the Etihad Stadium for a fourth consecutive season after joining the club for £100 million from Aston Villa.

Since joining City, Grealish has been a significant contributor to the team’s success, registering 32 goal contributions in 125 games for the northwesterners. During their treble victory last season, he combined 16 goals and assists in just over 3,000 minutes of football, which was a healthy contribution that helped City make history.

He assisted Trent Alexander-Arnold’s volley on Monday night’s friendly against Bosnia and Herzegovina as an England substitute. He is currently awaiting word on whether or not he will be able to board the aircraft to Germany following Friday’s friendly against Finland at Wembley.

Grealish is anticipated to be selected in continuation of his career-long success in an England shirt, as his game-winning contributions have established him as an invaluable asset to both the club and the nation, regardless of whether he is starting or coming off the substitute.

Considering that Anthony Gordon, Foden, and Cole Palmer are all capable of playing on the left flank, Grealish’s participation on the plane could be crucial to England’s chances of winning their first major trophy in 58 years, despite the fact that Palmer is inherently inverted on the right and Foden was relegated to the wings to allow Jude Bellingham to flourish in the No. 10 position.
