Manchester City maintain their lead atop the Premier League standings with a draw with Chelsea, notwithstanding the strong beginnings to the seasons of Liverpool, Arsenal, and Tottenham.

Manchester City, according to Erling Haaland, are in even greater shape than they were a year ago.

Last season, City won a historic Treble, and Haaland is convinced that the club is well positioned to earn an additional extraordinary championship haul. Despite struggling to a tally of eight goals at Chelsea and losing two games this season, Pep Guardiola’s squad has climbed to the summit of the Premier League standings.

However, Haaland stated, “We have been performing exceptionally well. We are currently first in our division and have already advanced to the round of 16 in the Champions division. It has been an exceptionally pleasant few months, if not better than the previous season. “The beginning has gone quite well.”

That should send shockwaves throughout the remainder of the Premier League, as City were unstoppable in their previous campaign and are obviously motivated to replicate that form of success.

Haaland acknowledged that they are not accustomed to scoring four goals and still failing to win, but cautioned that they will simply need to score even more goals the following game.

“Although the game was difficult, I thoroughly enjoyed it. “It’s not ideal to win after scoring four goals, but that’s not the case this time around,” Haaland explained. “We had several opportunities to secure the victory, but we failed to do so. We have an obligation to address this matter. We will need to achieve a score of five in the future. It is gratifying to score, but it is disheartening to lose. A point is an improvement over zero.

It is, however, difficult to travel to Chelsea. We anticipated playing Chelsea because we are aware of their caliber, and we performed admirably. We simply made errors, but that’s football; we didn’t perform poorly.

Additionally, Haaland is in position to surpass Andy Cole’s record for the shortest time to reach 50 goals. The City forward has scored 49 goals in 47 Premier League games, whereas Cole established the record in 65 games.

Haaland continued, “I am not overly concerned with it.” I am concerned with progressing and excelling. I remain to be 23 years old. While the arrival of records is a positive development, I ultimately fail to perceive it as such.
