Man City chief issues stern warning to Sir Jim Ratcliffe regarding Man United’s Omar Berrada poaching

Manchester United is attempting to dethrone City from their position.

Khaldoon Al Mubarak, the chairman of Manchester City, has cautioned Sir Jim Ratcliffe that the club’s continued growth will not be impacted by the acquisition of Omar Berrada.

Earlier this year, Manchester United executed a coup by announcing that Berrada would resign from his position as City’s chief football operations officer in order to assume the role of chief executive at United this summer.

Khaldoon, on the other hand, is certain that the “machine” operating at the Etihad Stadium will persist in its status as the most dominant force in English football, despite Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s assertion that he intends to undermine City’s dominance.

Ratcliffe stated, “We have a great deal to learn from our noisy neighbour and the other neighbour [Liverpool],” following the announcement of his appointment at United. “Ultimately, they are the adversary.” I would relish the opportunity to remove both of them from their positions.

“However, they have been in a favourable position for an extended period, and there are lessons that we can glean from both of them.” They operate in an environment that is both elite and driven, and they are surrounded by exceptional individuals. Additionally, they have sensible organisations. I am extremely respectful of them; however, they remain my adversaries.

United have initially raided City for one of their senior executives, Berrada, who will formally join on July 13 after his gardening leave period concludes. Furthermore, former City Academy chief Jason Wilcox has joined as technical director after a stint at Southampton.

It is a component of a broader trend in which City personnel, such as coaches Enzo Maresca and Rodolfo Borrell, who are currently managers, are transferred to rival clubs.

In an interview with the club’s media outlets, Khaldoon was asked about his feelings regarding such departures. He responded, “To be frank?” Proud. It indicates that we are exceptionally proficient in all aspects of our work.

“Senior executives, medical personnel, physiotherapists, and coaching staff that are recruited by the most elite teams worldwide.” I believe it is a testament to the fact that we are on the correct path. It validates the following: a) that we are conducting ourselves correctly, b) the individuals, c) that we have a system, great leadership, great management, and a system that continues to generate talent at every level.

“Every facet of the football industry, including coaching, playing, and managing.” It is evident that individuals who receive an offer for a position at another institution are capable of comprehending the situation. It is only natural for individuals to pursue alternative challenges.

“However, I am optimistic that they will always leave with a sense of gratitude for the time they spent at the club.” I believe that they will always have a positive memory of the time we spent and will leave with respect for the contribution this institution has made to their careers.

“We will make every effort to retain the individuals we wish to retain.” Occasionally, it is impossible to achieve victory in all situations. However, it is the result of natural evolution.

Khaldoon has issued a warning to City’s competitors, including United, that the departures will not undermine them. The club’s overarching ownership group has expanded to become a formidable force in the global game, and he is content with this development.

Khaldoon is especially delighted of the club’s robust financial status, which resulted in record revenues of £712.8million and a profit of £80.4million last year.

Khaldoon expressed his satisfaction with the outcomes during his season-ending evaluation. “The results are highly sustainable due to the fact that we have established a very solid foundation over the course of many years.” We have a financial and economic juggernaut.

“I believe we are on a trajectory that has been in place for years and is continuing to grow.”

“The model is functional.” We possess an exceptional system, a first-rate management team, and exceptional organisations that are affiliated with our organisation. The viability of City Football Group is no longer being evaluated. It is currently a mature, completely operational entertainment and sports machine that is expanding.
