English lost 1-0 to Brazil, and Harry Maguire was sent for a scan after getting off the bench early in the game. This is even worse for Manchester United and England.

Maguire is the second player this season to quit the England national team. Man City’s Kyle Walker got hurt and had to leave the game on Saturday.

When the important player left in the second half, there was worry. That’s why the scan was done on Sunday.

Gareth Southgate says that Maguire and Chilwell were taken off at first to keep everyone safe. He will not be able to play in England’s friendly against Belgium on Tuesday, though, because he is hurt.

He has gone back to his club, just like Walker. Southgate’s team has had a rough season.

Even though United has some big games coming up, like a trip to Brentford in the Premier League on Saturday, their boss, Erik ten Hag, will be worried about the news.

After only 67 minutes, Maguire was taken off in the last game he played for his club or country. Since February 24, he hadn’t taken off.

United’s defense is already having a hard time without Luke Shaw, Lisandro Martinez, and Tyrell Malacia.

Because of a hip problem, Maguire missed five games over the Christmas break. He just recently got better.

Some people were worried that Maguire and Walker would only be able to play for the first 20 minutes of the game.

When Ezri Konsa from Aston Villa came on for the right back for Man City, the right back got a scan because he thought his leg hurt.

Even though they were good, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Jack Grealish, and Bukayo Saka didn’t play in the 1-0 loss. Stan Kane hurt his ankle in the stands before the game. Right now he is getting care at Bayern Munich.

Jordan Henderson and Cole Palmer, on the other hand, have been back at training since Saturday. They might help England choose which team to play next when they play Belgium.

The English lost to Brazil. Endrick scored the game’s only goal after coming in to give them a boost.

Although his team lost on Saturday night, Southgate made it clear that he was pleased with how they played as a whole. This was after a 21-game win streak at Wembley.
