Life Throws Jabs, But Love Remains Unshaken: Stephen Curry Opens Up About a Tough Year in Heartfelt Anniversary Note to Wife Ayesha
We tend to forget that even the most famous and wealthy athletes, like Stephen Curry, have regular, everyday struggles with things like poverty and unemployment. The All-Star for the Golden State Warriors acknowledged that he had a difficult year in an anniversary message to his wife Ayesha Curry.
During their summer together, Steph, 37, and Ayesha, 35, had fun doing things like going shirtless on the beach and having him play the role of a third wheel at a Los Angeles event with Ciara, a recording artist.
But they laughed it off, so it was all in good humour.
On the one hand, they celebrated baby Cai’s first birthday in superdad mode, and on the other, they celebrated Riley’s thirteenth birthday as Super Mario Bros. characters.
As a tribute to their 14th wedding anniversary, Ayesha shared some heartfelt words and photos with Steph, along with one playful one.
In a heartfelt message to his wife, the basketball star revealed, “Life has been throwing some jabs recently but it’s always a reminder that I got my backbone and my rock with me through it all!” May you continue to be blessed for many more years.

It goes to show you it doesn’t matter he’s an NBA superstar and has four NBA titles and is on a $62.6 million contract extension, Steph has “jabs” from life as well.
While we don’t know exactly what he’s referring to, it goes to show you it’s not always sunshine no matter who you are.
He has a strong woman by his side to help him through whatever it is they are going through, though. That’s what matters.
