Leyton Orient might miss out on a chance for Everton to make a transfer: Look at

While the summer transfer window was open, Leyton Orient made a smart move by signing midfielder Lewis Warrington after he was released from Everton.

However, the 23-year-old has only been able to play four times in League One, and only once as a starter.

He has done better in cup events. He started all three of Orient’s Carabao Cup games and played all 90 minutes of the Bristol Street Motors Trophy match against Colchester United.

Orient has had some of its best games when Warrington has been on the team, like the 1-0 win at Millwall in August, when he played the whole game.

Warrington had been in the Everton school for 15 years and had played in a lot of PL2 games as well as some, but not many, successful Football League loans.

Warrington did a great job for Fleetwood

He showed how good he was by averaging over 37 accurate passes per 90 minutes and a 79% pass completion rate at Fleetwood, where he played the most regularly in his career so far. According to FootyStats and FotMob, these numbers make him the fourth best player on the O’s team this season for accurate passes. The O’s really need stability right now, and this helped Fleetwood finish in a solid 13th place.

Warrington also hit an amazing average of almost four accurate long balls per 90 minutes. This is a skill that could definitely come in handy for an Orient team that needs a Plan B for when they play the more physical teams in the division.

Warrington has shown his skill in League One, which makes many people even more confused about why he isn’t playing for the team. Many people are critical of boss Richie Wellens for not using a player who has already shown his skill at this level while the O’s are having a bad run of form.

It was agreed that Warrington would learn from boss Wellens.

When Warrington left Everton after just one game and signed with Orient in July, he told the club’s website, “As soon as I heard that Orient were interested, I wanted to get down here and sign.”

“Meeting the gaffer made my choice easy, and even though there were other offers, I’ve always wanted to come here after talking to him.”

“He (Wellens) used to play midfield, so I’m excited to learn from him.” This club seems to be going in the right direction, and I’m excited to be a part of it.

This midfielder’s early excitement makes the fact that he hasn’t played much this season even more strange, especially since he hasn’t been in the team when the O’s have been having a bad time, and his only start this season was in a home loss to Exeter City, where he was taken off at halftime. Other than a 1-0 win at Reading, all of Warrington’s games that he hasn’t played in have been losses. This includes a 3-0 loss at Shrewsbury, which was the Shropshire team’s first win of the season.

It would be strange if Wellens didn’t give guys like Warrington a chance to help the team turn things around, since the O’s are 19th in the table and haven’t won in their last five games. In addition to his strong passing numbers, Warrington is also a good defender who would help Orient’s defense, which has only kept two clean sheets in all categories.

Orient and Warrington’s luck has changed.

Due to Ethan Galbraith being called up for Northern Ireland and Sean Clare getting hurt at Lincoln City, Warrington would have had a great chance to show what they could do in training.

Plus, veteran Darren Pratley is set to quit at the end of the season, just like he did at the end of last season. This means that Warrington could keep his spot in the team for years to come, given his age and experience.

Up until now, Warrington hasn’t played many games for the team. But with the January transfer window coming up, he will want to find his place in the team so that he doesn’t have to look elsewhere so soon after moving to East London.

It could be terrible for Orient to lose a player of his caliber, even if it’s just on loan for a short time. They need to find him a spot in the team right away, or they might miss the chance Everton gave them to sign him.
