LBJ’s Shocking Truth: Ty Lue Spills the Tea on LeBron’s Real Reaction to Kyrie’s Trade.

While the NBA doesn’t spend much time considering “what if” scenarios, there are plenty of intriguing ones to talk about.

The most prevalent is the following: “What if Kevin Durant had never signed with the Warriors?” Was he a legitimate league champion? Would three championships in four years have been possible for the Warriors?

What if Kyrie Irving hadn’t abandoned LeBron James to face the Warriors dynasty on his own with the Cavaliers?

According to Ty Lue, the Warriors’ Kevin Durant’s presence altered LeBron James’ and Kyrie Irving’s future prospects.

The solution is known to Tyronn Lue. If Kevin Durant hadn’t left for the Warriors, according to the former Cavaliers coach, his old squad would have been the league champion.

In Lue’s opinion, things could have turned out differently if Irving had remained. He says LeBron was devastated the second Kyrie Irving was traded to the Celtics.

Without that superteam formation, Lue envisions three consecutive championships with James and Irving leading the Cavaliers.

“If KD doesn’t go to Golden State, I think we win three in a row. And I think Kyrie stays, because you can’t leave after that, right?” Lue explained.

“Like I said, if he stays, we could have had a chance to win two or three. He made his mind up. That’s like another Kobe and Shaq situation.”

LeBron’s emotional reaction captured during foundation autograph signing

Lue provided intimate details about James learning of Irving’s Boston trade. The scene unfolded during a charitable event, making the emotional response more poignant.

“Bron’s doing an autograph signing with jerseys and stuff for his foundation. So I come sit next to ‘Bron. We sitting there, handed the phone, SportsCenter: Kyrie Irving has just been traded to the Boston Celtics.

Bron dropped the marker. Just lays back in his chair for about 10 minutes, doesn’t say a word, like just p___d off, and Bron was crushed.”

If Irving had stayed in Cleveland, James would have stayed, according to Lue’s definite response. In my opinion, yes.

There was probably no animosity toward Bron; he was simply pursuing a professional goal. Nevertheless, LeBron chose to depart and join the Lakers in Los Angeles after suffering consecutive losses to the Warriors in 2018. He went on to win a single championship with the team.
