Kyrie Spills the Tea as Steve Nash Saga Gets Juicier as Kelvin Durant’s Involvement Exposed!

This time around, Kyrie Irving is illuminating the tumultuous era of the Brooklyn Nets by discussing his complicated relationship with Steve Nash, the team’s former head coach.

In a recent Twitch stream, Irving put an end to persistent rumours of rifts between himself, Kevin Durant, and James Harden from their time together in Brooklyn.

He made it clear that there is no animosity, just more stories.

Irving looked back on the Nets’ high-expectation years that fell short of playoff success. He pointed to the 2021-22 season as especially messy.

There was a lot of change. James Harden asked for a trade, Ben Simmons dealt with Injuries, and the front office kept shifting. Irving said many people don’t understand what went on behind the scenes and how those struggles shaped the team’s downfall.

“How Steve [Nash] ended up becoming our head coach-I’ll let K [Kevin Durant] answer that when he’s ready…,” Irving said. “when Steve became our head coach, he even admitted to me that he had his own reserves on coaching me, and I had my reserves on being coached by him.”

He added that there is still mutual respect despite past social media back-and-forths with Durant.

Irving’s comments follow Durant’s recent appearance on the ‘Mind The Game’ podcast with Nash and Lebron James. Durant cited overwhelming instability as a key reason the Nets never found their rhythm.

Kyrie Irving Shares His Admiration For Luka Doncic

While streaming on Twitch, Kyrie Irving recently shared a remarkable anecdote involving Luka Doncic.

According to him, Doncic once stunned the Dallas Mavericks practice crowd by scoring 24 points in the span of three minutes.

Irving went on to say that during practice, Doncic once scored 60 points while grabbing 18 boards and dishing out 18 assists. Doncic was unrelenting even in practice, according to Kyrie.

Behind closed doors, his efforts and abilities were every bit as sharp as they were during actual games. Irving continues to address Luka as “hermano” despite the brief time they spent together on the floor.

No change has occurred in the regard.
