Roy Keane’s response to being questioned by Mark Pougatch and Ian Wright said a lot about how he felt about going into the I’m A Celebrity jungle.

Roy Keane, a former defender for Manchester United, was blunt when asked if he would be on “I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!” In the ITV studio during halftime of England’s 5-0 win over Republic of Ireland at Wembley, the talk switched from football to things going on in the jungle.

Mark Pougatch asked Ian Wright, “Do you think we should put someone in the jungle?” after Keane gave Kyle Walker’s dare a bad review. I’m A Celebrity’s 24th season will begin on Sunday night at 9pm BST. Alan Halsall from Coronation Street and Wayne Rooney’s wife Coleen Rooney are among the famous people who are expected to be on the show.

Wright, who placed eighth on the 2019 season of I’m a Celebrity, and Pougatch then made hints that Keane should go into the Australian jungle in the future. Wright used to play forward for Arsenal and England.

Pougatch added: “A pointer towards the new series of I’m A Celebrity which starts tonight here on ITV 1 at 9pm – five years to the night where we gathered in Kosovo to watch Ian Wright walking a plank a long way up.”

Wright said, “That was really scary.”

Pougatch replied, “Do you think we should send someone into the jungle to hint at Keane?” Wright replied, “I believe he should go in.” James Haskell and Nadine Coyle, two of my friends, went in, and it was the best thing that ever happened to them. Besides that, I haven’t had much food or sleep. “That’s all I can remember.”

After that, both Pougatch and Wright looked at Keane, but he wasn’t giving anything away. With a grin on his face, the Irishman tried to keep his mouth shut, but someone heard him say, “Not for me.”

England beat the Republic of Ireland 5-0 to win their Nations League group. Goals from Harry Kane, Anthony Gordon, Conor Gallagher, Jarrod Bowen, and Taylor Harwood-Bellis made it an easy win.
