Just In: A former basketball star from Kentucky is being looked into for domestic violence

Last week, news came out that Aaron Bradshaw, a former Kentucky star basketball player, was not on the Ohio State basketball team. The University couldn’t say much because the probe was still going on. But rumours started to spread about Bradshaw and the trouble he was in. There was also a lot of talk on social media about what might happen to him next.

There was a lot of talk that Bradshaw was involved in an FBI investigation into college athletes and maybe even managers shaving their heads and gambling. This got around a lot, and some Kentucky fans even started to wonder if it was really happening at Kentucky. But this was never proven to be true; it was just a bunch of false rumours.

Today, On3 and Adam Jardy said that he was kicked off the team because of a domestic violence event that happened at his on-campus flat.

Ohio State hasn’t said anything else since their comment last week, which said:

The rumours were not at all like this new story. That’s why it’s important not to share or guess when it doesn’t come from a reliable source. As the beat writer for Ohio State for The Columbus Dispatch, Jardy wrote this in his piece: “No charges have been filed against Bradshaw.” While the university goes through its process, there is no set date for his possible return to the team and no final decision has been made. He is not expected to be in dress for Monday night’s game against Green Bay.

Keep an eye on this story as it goes on. Bradshaw, a 7’1″ centre, will do well in life if he can keep his mind on basketball and get over what happened. It’s possible that things can be worked out since no charges have been brought. Again, though, it’s not a good idea to make too many assumptions until we know more.
