Fenerbahçe, a huge team from Turkey, has been given a huge blow before their Europa League match against Manchester United.

After their last practice at home on Wednesday, Manchester United will go to Istanbul.

Both United and Fenerbahce need a win, and Jose Mourinho will be trying to pull off another upset in European play.

Most of the attention here is on how few players are available for United because of problems in our defense. Another player who won’t be able to play for weeks is Harry Maguire.

A Fenerbahce star will not play for months.

Although Fenerbahce also has some problems before the game.

An injury to Jayden Oosterwolde’s cruciate ligament has kept him out for up to five months, according to the Turkish news site Sebah. The injury to the 23-year-old back happened in the draw with Samsunspor over the weekend.

Following his two yellow cards against FC Porto, which led to his removal in the previous Europa League match, United will be without Bruno Fernandes because he is suspended.

Furthermore, Leny Yoro, Luke Shaw, Tyrell Malacia, and Mason Mount are not playing for the Reds.

Four Fenerbahce players—Irfan Egribayat, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Cengiz Under, and Ismail Yuksek—didn’t play over the weekend.
