Jose Mourinho claims to be going back to the Premier League, and there are rumors that he might become Everton’s manager after the takeover
In the Premier League, Jose Mourinho has been in charge of Chelsea, Manchester United, and Tottenham.
Jose Mourinho has said that he wants to play in the Premier League again. Everton has been mentioned with him.
People think that Mourinho is one of the best coaches since the 2000s. In total, he has won eight league wins with Porto, Chelsea, Inter Milan, and Real Madrid. With Porto and Inter, he also won two Champions Leagues.
The Portuguese manager is now in charge of Fenerbahce in Turkey. Tonight, his new team will play Manchester United in the Europa League. Before he was fired in December 2018, Mourinho was manager of Manchester United for two and a half years. During that time, he led the team to the EFL Cup and the Europa League.
In the same way, Mourinho worked at Tottenham Hotspur for one and a half years before leaving in April 2021. Since then, he hasn’t played in the Premier League, but his name will always be linked to English football.
Since Sean Dyche’s contract is up at the end of the season, the former Real Madrid manager has been talked about as a possible future manager for Everton. The Friedkin Group (TFG), which is interested in buying Everton, hired Mourinho as manager of AS Roma in May 2021. In his first season, he led the team to the maiden Europa Conference League Crown. He was fired in January of last year, though, and later said that he was “eliminated” by “someone who knows little about football,” referring to TFG head Dan Friedkin.
He is now the manager of Fenerbahce and will try to give Erik ten Hag, who is the head coach of United, their latest blow. In the Premier League, Manchester United is in 12th place. In the Europa League, they have tied both of their games so far. Mourinho thinks United is better than their record shows, and he wants to play them a lot in the future because he wants to manage in England again.
Mourinho told the press before the game, “Maybe you English guys think I’m bluffing and playing mind games.” I’m not playing anything because their team is better than the records show.
“I learned as much as I could about them.” Everything that happened in the Premier League, Twente, and Porto was watched. They will eventually be successful. I hope it’s sooner rather than later that I play them again when I return to the Premier League. They’re only my opponents for one match right now.
