The supporters of Manchester United are incensed with Lisandro Martinez for the Instagram post he made in response to his team’s disastrous 3-0 loss to Liverpool.

Manchester United supporters are incensed at Lisandro Martinez for taking to Instagram subsequent to the Red Devils’ loss to Liverpool. Arne Slot’s team emerged as 3-0 victors at Old Trafford on Sunday, thanks to a brace from Luis Diaz and an additional goal from Mohamed Salah.

Liverpool erupted as the Argentina international played the entire 90 minutes for Erik ten Hag’s team. The Reds are currently ranked second in the table with a 100% winning record after three games, trailing Man City solely on goals scored. United, on the other hand, are in 14th place after losing two of their matches.

The Premier League’s final match prior to the September international break featured Liverpool’s victory over United.

Martinez was among the numerous players who departed for international duty subsequent to his team’s defeat at Old Trafford.

On Monday, he commemorated his most recent international call-up by publishing two photographs of himself arriving for duty on Instagram, where he was included in Lionel Scaloni’s Argentina squad alongside his clubmate Alejandro Garnacho.

He also included a beaming emoji in the accompanying caption and wrote, “At home.”

Nevertheless, Manchester United supporters have not been pleased with his selection of the second image.

Less than 36 hours after the Liverpool midfielder had assisted his team in defeating the Red Devils at Old Trafford, the defender was beaming as he posed with his international teammate, Alexis MacAllister.

It is unsurprising that supporters expressed their sentiments in the comments section of the post.

One supporter wrote, “The individual just defeated us 3-0, bro. I will not be sharing a photo with him the following day.” A second individual added, “It feels like a betrayal.”

After the contest, a third individual stated, “There is no shame in posting with a Liverpool player; it is a truly poor decision from you, butcher.”

A fourth individual expressed their dissatisfaction with the outcome, stating, “These players are indifferent to our defeat.” “Shameless players,” while a fifth responds, “As much as I admire you, Licha, that photo with a player from a team that just defeated us 3-0 two days ago is somewhat superfluous.”

“Licha” There was a sixth voice that said, “I love you to pieces, but this is not it, man!” “You have been a disgrace all season; you represent Manchester United, and we have been beaten up. Come on, Licha!”

An additional advocate expressed their dissatisfaction: “What is this individual doing?” The Manchester United fans and proprietors are incensed, and you have the audacity to do this?

“This is hardly surprising; they all hug each other in the tunnels before the game even begins; it’s pathetic,” another fan commented. “There is no longer any desire or hunger for a genuine fight in the games. They feign concern, receive a substantial salary, and depart. They are indifferent to the level of passion that genuine fans have for these matters, to be frank.”

One devotee stated, “He prepared a meal for you on Sunday, and you are beaming with joy.” One individual expressed his disappointment that Martinz had shared a photo with “this guy” after “they just pumped us 3-0,” while another called for Roy Keane to “sort him out.”

In the early hours of Friday morning, Argentina will host Chile in their most recent 2026 World Cup qualifier. Subsequently, they will travel to Columbia to face Luis Diaz’s team on the following Tuesday.

In the interim, Martinez and Manchester United will be back in action at Southampton in the dreaded 12.30pm kick-off period on Saturday, September 14. MacAllister and Liverpool will be hosting Nottingham Forest at Anfield at 3pm on the same day.
