Injuries are affecting “a lot” of Everton players, according to Michael Keane, who talks about his own.

Since the beginning of the season, Everton’s players have been hurt a lot.

Because of important players not being available, Sean Dyche has had to ask many of his players to play outside of their normal positions, with mixed results.

Yet, wants must be met in these dire times.

And it looks like he was so desperate that he had to convince some of his stars to keep playing even though they were sick.

Michael Keane shockingly tells about Everton injury

Michael Keane told the Liverpool Echo before the game that he had a pretty shocking discovery. He had just helped his team keep a clean sheet for the second game in a row and scored their second goal.

He has been playing even though it hurts.

He said that he had to just “get through it” at Leicester City in particular so that the team could do better.

Adding that he is not the only one feeling this way, he said, “I hurt my leg against Leicester, but it was okay. I’ve always been the type of person who wants to play and help the team in any way I can.” No problems.

It’s normal for boys to play with injuries and get through it. It happens all the time.

We should praise this dedication to the cause, which is why Everton fans were booing Keane at the end of the game on Saturday.

There were questions for Sean Dyche when he left.
It seems like this Keane revelation has given the Everton boss some things to think about.

After all, Dyche has been very careful not to rush Jarrad Branthwaite and Nathan Patterson back, so it looks like his rules are different for each player.

Of course, some injuries need more attention than others, but the fact that the first player was thought to be fit enough for the Crystal Palace game but then was ruled out again heightens the suspicions.

It is worth asking why the Republic of Ireland international was bought in the first place if Keane and James Tarkowski have been playing through pain while Jake O’Brien has been sitting on the bench.

As always, Dyche has done a great job, both this season and in the past when injuries were a problem.

Some people aren’t sure what to make of his behavior this season, though.
