Manchester United
In Manchester United’s 1-1 draw with Chelsea in the Premier League, Noussair Mazraoui shines.
Manchester United and Chelsea played to a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford on Sunday in the Premier League.
So far, the Red Devils’ season has not gone as planned. They had clear chances to win yesterday and should have done so.
In the 70th minute, Bruno Fernandes scored from the penalty spot to break the tie. However, Moises Caicedo quickly tied the game again.
The Ecuadorian scored with a beautiful shot from 20 yards out that went into the bottom left corner of Andre Onana’s net.
Even though a draw isn’t terrible, United won’t be happy because they missed four great chances to score.
When we look at the good things, Noussair Mazraoui did a great job at left back. It was his best game since he joined the club.
The Moroccan seemed at ease and showed that he might be a better choice than Diogo Dalot, who has had trouble with where he is placed in that role.

The Moroccan seemed at ease and showed that he might be a better choice than Diogo Dalot, who has had trouble with where he is placed in that role.
Amazingly, the 26-year-old won 13 of the 16 duels he fought in the game and made all five of his dribbles.
He completed 92 percent of his passes and only lost the ball three times in the whole game.
From our point of view, Mazraoui has made it clear to new boss Ruben Amorim that he can be a good left wing-back.
Amorim is likely to stick with his successful 3-4-3 or 3-4-2-1 formation at United. Mazraoui could become a regular player for Portugal under the new coach.
United remain only six points adrift of the top four following yesterday’s draw, but they need to build a winning run soon to reduce the deficit.
On Thursday, the Red Devils host PAOK in the Europa League. Before the international break, they host Leicester City in the league.
