Alsore Onana talked about how hard it was for him mentally to get used to playing for Manchester United. He is sure that he has reached a turning point off the field.

After having a rough first seven months at Manchester United, Andre Onana says he has reached a “turning point” in his personal life.

Onana, the goalkeeper, said he has had a hard time adjusting to his new team since moving from Inter Milan for £47.2 million in July. He had said that the move from Ajax to Milan in 2022 was “easy.” The 27-year-old had a rough first half of the season. He was blamed for United’s costly goals in the Champions League group stage, and his goalkeeping was called into question in last month’s wins over Wolves and Aston Villa.

After being away for nine months, Onana was also brought back to the Cameroon team in September. However, he only played in one of their four Africa Cup of Nations games in January, after being cut after their 3-1 loss to Senegal in the group stage.

During a tough time, Onana’s United friends and fans have been there for him, and he is thankful for their support.

“I already know what kind of goalkeeper I am.” “It took me six or seven months not to play well, but just to feel good,” Onana told the Manchester Evening News and two other reporters. “It was a tough time for me.” I feel a little better now.

“Because it was a new country and everything was different, it was hard for me to feel at home.” I feel better now,

“I don’t want to talk about performance because I know what kind of goalkeeper I am and have done a lot more than what I just did. For me, being set and happy is the most important thing, and I will shine.”

“I don’t think so,” Onana said when someone said he had been mentally mean to himself. “But it was only a moment.” You may face a tough situation from time to time.

“It was hard for me for six or seven months just to feel good and not play well because I didn’t think I started to play well.” I don’t know, it was just something strange.

“I learned a lot that time, so it was a good time for me to learn.” It taught me a lot to play in the Champions League final and then get knocked out in the first round a few months later.

“I believe I am responsible for everything now. I will learn from it, move on, and try to be happy.” That’s the most important thing.

The other goalkeepers on my team always helped me remember who I am and why I joined this club. Some players said it took two years, others said it took six months, and still others said it took no time at all. You are the kind of person who can turn things around.

“Right from the start, they stood by me and told me, ‘Andre, the quality is there; it’s just a matter of time.'” I’m very happy, especially with my friends and fans. They were nice to me even when things were hard, and I’m grateful for that. I only want to thank them.
