After being banned from football for four years, Paul Pogba made an emotional speech.

After hearing that he will not be able to play football for four years, Paul Pogba put out an emotional statement. The winner of the 2018 World Cup will go to the Court of Arbitration for Sport to plead their case.

Instead of accepting the ban, Pogba said, “I was told today of the Tribunale Nazionale Antidoping’s decision and I think it is wrong.”

It breaks my heart that everything I worked hard to build up during my professional playing career has been taken away from me.

“When I’m not limited by the law, the whole story will become clear, but I have never purposely or knowingly taken any supplements that break anti-doping rules.”

“As a professional athlete, I would never use illegal drugs to improve my performance, and I have never cheated or disrespected other athletes or fans of any team I have played for or against.”

“Because of the decision that was made today, I will take this to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.”

That’s because Pogba tested positive for testosterone after Juventus’ first game of the season, which was against Udinese in Serie A. Pogba’s lawyers said they thought the star accidentally ate the substance that caused the failed test.

The officials found against Pogba’s lawyers and gave the football player a harsh punishment. Pogba isn’t ready to give up easily; he’s already said that he wants to take the case to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

Pogba had come back to his old team Juventus to try to start over with his career after a bad time at United. In 2013, Pogba joined the Premier League team for a world record £93.2 million. However, he left Old Trafford just six years after signing the contract.

When he got back to Turin, though, things didn’t go well for him. Pogba signed a four-year deal with Juventus after joining the Serie A giants for free in the summer of 2022, but he has only played 12 times because of injuries. Pogba’s time with Juventus and maybe even as a football player is over now that the 91-times-capped Frenchman has been banned from the sport.
