Grizzlies to create Magic in Berlin, London & Manchester!!

This season, the Memphis Grizzlies and the Orlando Magic will play two games each in Europe. Over the next three seasons, the NBA will play a minimum of six regular-season games in Europe.

Next up for the Grizzlies and Magic are two games in London on January 18 and Berlin on January 15. In the 2026–27 season, the league will hold its games in Manchester, England, and Paris. In the 2027–28 season, the venues will go back to Berlin and Paris.

Venues in Berlin (Uber Arena), London (The O2), Manchester (Co-op Live), and Paris (Accor Arena) will host the games. “The incredible momentum and appetite for NBA basketball in France, Germany, the UK and across the region is reflected in announcing the next three season’s regular-season games in Europe,” stated George Aivazoglou, the NBA’s managing director for Europe and the Middle East.

“We are excited to have the Grizzlies and Magic visit Berlin and London, and we hope that the games and related events will bring together fans, players, and local communities.”

Not only will the January Berlin game be the first regular-season NBA game in Germany since 1984, but it will also be a homecoming for Franz and Moritz Wagner, two Magic players who play for the German national team. It will be the tenth regular-season game played in London this year.

Paris has hosted five regular-season games, including two last season against the Indiana Pacers and the San Antonio Spurs, while Manchester has never hosted a game.

The Spurs’ decision to travel to Paris for last season’s series was understandable given that French standout Victor Wembanyama plays for the team.

Midway through August is when the entire NBA schedule for the upcoming season is anticipated to be unveiled.

The 2027 and 2028 NBA seasons will see the announcement of the dates and participating teams, correspondingly, before the 2026–27 and 2027–28 seasons of the league, respectively.
