Liverpool is ahead of Manchester City by one point in the Premier League table, while Arsenal is two points behind.

Thanks to Jurgen Klopp, Gary Neville thinks that Liverpool could win the Premier League title at the end of the season.

They beat Chelsea in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley on Sunday and won the first big prize of the season. On Wednesday night, they play Southampton in the fifth round of the FA Cup. They are also heavily favored to win the Europa League.

But winning the Premier League is the real prize. Right now, Liverpool is on top of the table, two points ahead of Arsenal and one point ahead of Manchester City. Klopp is leaving his job this summer, and winning the title would be the best way for him to say goodbye.

Former Manchester United fullback Neville believes that Klopp could make the difference in the title race. “That might be as good as it gets” Neville said on his Sky Sports podcast when talking about Liverpool without Klopp as their boss. But being in his last few months and feeling his energy and spirit, you know what will happen. Not anymore do I believe Liverpool will win the league. Nevertheless, it’s possible for it to happen.

After Arsenal beat Liverpool at the beginning of the month, Neville talked about what he thought about Liverpool’s hopes of winning the title. According to him, Arsenal’s celebrations at the end didn’t show that they thought they were going to win the title. They looked like a team that didn’t want to lose the title race, which is why they were so happy at the end.

“Arsenal is a better team than Liverpool, but Liverpool is a more brutal team, especially in the final third,” And that might cost Arsenal in the end. Remember, I thought Arsenal would win the league at the beginning of the season. But there are still so many signs that Arsenal doesn’t have that killer sense in the last few minutes of the game that I think it will hurt them at some point this season finish.

“So basically, I think it’s a really well-coached team; their system and way of playing are good, but that one important thing is missing.” With Diogo Jota, Mohamed Salah, Cody Gakpo, and Luis Diaz, Liverpool has a lot of attacking options. Ultimately, I believe that will only be a problem.

Liverpool plays Southampton in the FA Cup this coming Wednesday and then hosts Nottingham Forest in the Premier League. You can see Manchester City vs. Manchester United on Sunday in the FA Cup quarterfinals after they beat Luton.
