From NBA TO WNBA: Kyrie Irving spotted with WNBA’s Next Big Thing

Kyrie Irving, a standout player for the Dallas Mavericks, tore his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in March and has been rehabbing since then. Taking it easy as he gets back to full strength, he connected with another first-round draft choice.

The match took place at American Airlines Arena on Friday night between the Indiana Fever and the Dallas Wings. Since this would be the inaugural meeting of WNBA rivals Caitlin Clark and Paige Bueckers, fans were eagerly awaiting the game.

But this much-anticipated showdown will have to wait, since Clark’s injury forced him to sit out the match.

Even though the Fever guard wasn’t playing, a few famous faces still showed up to see the WNBA game.

Not only that, but Irving made an effort to chat with a female basketball player on the rise when he was there.

The Mavs guard was seen leaving the court with Bueckers as the play ended.
