Extraordinary Arsenal player could leave the club this summer instead of Gabriel Magalhaes – Fabrizio Romano

Arsenal is expected to recruit a new left-footed center-back in the immediate future.

Riccardo Calafiori is reportedly scheduled to join the Gunners in the near future, and the acquisition of a new high-profile defender has inevitably raised concerns regarding the destinies of other players.

It would be logical to imply that Gabriel Magalhaes could leave, as that left-sided centre-back position is typically reserved for him.

Nevertheless, Fabrizio Romano, when speaking on his YouTube channel, stated that the Brazilian’s future at Arsenal is relatively secure. He also mentioned that Jakub Kiwior is more likely to depart the club.

Romano provided an update on Gabriel’s future and his “extraordinary” colleague.

“This does not obligate Arsenal to dispose of Gabriel.” He is an immense asset to Arsenal. Romano stated, “I do not perceive the connection between Gabriel and Arsenal. It is more probable that a player such as Jakub Kiwior will depart Arsenal if Calafiori does sign.”

Jakub Kiwior had a respectable season with Arsenal in the previous season; however, this acquisition of Calafiori may render him redundant in this squad.

In fact, Kiwior would be the third-choice left-sided center-back, and arguably the fourth-choice left-back when the presence of both Jurrien Timber and Oleksandr Zinchenko is taken into account.

It would not be surprising if Kiwior were permitted to depart if Calafiori were to arrive, as numerous Italian clubs are reportedly interested in signing him.

Of course, Calafiori has not yet signed with Arsenal; however, the volume of speculation indicates that he may be on the move in the near future. If the Italian does indeed join the Gunners, Kiwior’s tenure at the Emirates may be limited.

Sadly, Kiwior may have played his final game for Arsenal, despite his respectable performances.
