EXCLUSIVE: In response to Liverpool icon’s “useless” criticism, Jadon Sancho makes clear Jurgen Klopp’s sentiments.
Jurgen Klopp relished his signature move as he pumped his fist towards the roaring crowd in Dortmund’s iconic single-tier stand after managing the club’s legends. Jadon Sancho expressed his admiration for the German after the footage was shared online.
Jadon Sancho has praised Jurgen Klopp as a “legend” in the wake of the German coach’s return to Borussia Dortmund. This statement was made just days after the former Liverpool manager’s condemnation of Manchester United’s treatment of the winger resurfaced.
This weekend, Klopp returned to Signal Iduna Park to oversee a Dortmund legends team. The testimonials of club icons Lukasz Piszczek and Jakub Blaszczykowski were presented, and a number of former players also returned to the game.
The former Liverpool manager pumped his fist towards the roaring audience in the iconic single-tier stand after the match, and Dortmund shared the video on their Instagram page. The caption of the post, which tagged Klopp, read “Signature move.” Sancho responded by referring to the German as a “legend.”
Klopp expressed his opinions on Sancho shortly after his departure from Liverpool. Sancho played for Dortmund for four seasons from 2017 to 2021 before returning on loan last season. Chelsea is his new destination after he has once again secured a loan from United.
In recently resurfaced quotes from May, the former Reds manager expressed his confusion regarding the loaning of Sancho, a player who was signed by United for £72m just a few years prior. He also questioned why the Red Devils did not place more “faith” in the player.
He stated, “The manager must be the one who stands behind the player if the entire world loses trust and faith in the player.” By the way, I cannot simply accept the notion that he is useless, as other clubs have done. This is equivalent to purchasing a player for £80 million and subsequently loaning him out.
Klopp has expressed his concern that he may never manage again in his career, as he remains without a club following the conclusion of his nine-year tenure with Liverpool at the conclusion of the previous season.
However, the 57-year-old was unable to conceal his emotions upon realising his “dream” of returning to Dortmund, a club he had departed for Liverpool just under a decade ago. Klopp has achieved two Bundesliga titles and two German Cups in a span of seven years, making him one of the most accomplished managers in the annals of the German team.
Klopp stated, “It is a lifelong aspiration that has been realised.” “I desired to possess that item once more.” I was the recipient of an impassioned farewell in Liverpool just a few months ago. Today was once again an extremely emotional day.
“Some individuals may assert that he is this way today and that he will be that way tomorrow.” I elucidate this by stating that when one has three children, they cherish each one. The same is true of my three organisations. All of them are beloved by me.
