EXCLUSIVE: Cole Palmer reveals his favorite to have won the Premier League as he eyes a spot in the England Euro 2024

Cole Palmer, a standout for Chelsea, has revealed his preference for the Premier League champion among Manchester City, Arsenal, and Liverpool…

In spite of opposition from Arsenal and Liverpool, Manchester City emerged victorious after a nail-biting title race to secure a historic sixth Premier League trophy in seven years and fourth consecutively.

With 89 points, Arsenal attempted to end a 20-year delay for the league championship and led until the final day, but ultimately fell short.

With only a few weeks remaining in the season, Liverpool remained in contention for the championship. However, in the final season under Jurgen Klopp at Anfield, they faltered and finished in third place, nine points behind Manchester City.

Palmer, who joined Chelsea in the summer and could have contributed to another Premier League title, maintains he has “no regrets” about his decision and was “ecstatic” to see his former club retain the trophy.

Palmer told The Sun, “I was hoping Man City would win the championship because I have many friends there, so I’m glad they did it.” “However, I have absolutely no regrets regarding the decision I made.”

Despite scoring only six goals in 41 appearances for Manchester City this season, Palmer emerged as one of the most prolific performers in the Premier League.

In 33 league contests, the 22-year-old started for an inconsistent Chelsea squad that languished in mid-table for the majority of the season before a late surge propelled them to sixth. He amassed 22 goals and 11 assists.

Palmer was designated the Premier League’s young player of the season and was included in Gareth Southgate’s provisional England squad for Euro 2024 due to his extraordinary form.

Next week, Southgate will reduce the current 33-man squad by at least seven players, but Palmer hopes to travel to Germany with the Three Lions this summer.

“I don’t care where I play as long as I’m involved,” he insisted. If not, however, it remains as it is. I truly could not have accomplished more.
