Everton star Arabian teams are now after Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
According to TuttoJuve, Arabian clubs are now “following” Everton star Dominic Calvert-Lewin as the last few months of his deal approach.
On October 15, an Italian news outlet said that clubs in Arabia are now thinking about making a move for the striker. Juventus, one of the biggest teams in Serie A, is also said to be keeping an eye on his position.
The star player’s contract with Everton ends at the end of the season, which seems to have gotten the attention of several teams.
Everton needs to make Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s deal longer.
There is no doubt that Everton would love to keep Calvert-Lewin, and there is even less doubt that it would be terrible to lose him for free.
Even though he is still mentioned with a move away, Calvert-Lewin is said to be in talks with the club to stay longer at Goodison Park [TEAMtalk, 14 October].
Calvert-Lewin has had a history of injuries, and even though he has been playing more often lately, he hasn’t been very good at scoring goals for Everton.
In spite of this, he is still an important part of the team, and Everton are definitely a better team when he is on the field. At the very least, they could use him renewing because he is valuable to them when he is under contract.
Instead of letting him leave for free, the club could actually sell him for a lot of money and use the money to improve their team, which is something they could really use.
After the striker’s future is decided, Dyche will have to make some tough choices. He will also have to choose who will lead his scoring line in the future.
Time will tell if the move goes through, but if teams like Chelsea and Arsenal [Caught Offside, August 27] start showing interest again, Everton won’t have much to offer.
