After Dan Friedkin helped build a new £148 million stadium, Everton fans will have high hopes for the team’s move to Bramley-Moore Dock.

Paul Brown replied on October 23 to a video shared by The Friedkin Group that talked about how they were going to spend £148 million to fix up FC Dallas’ Toyota Stadium.

Along with Toyota, which has been a big sponsor of Dallas’s new stadium project since 2013, the Friedkin Group is also working on the project.

Since Friedkin is about to take over at Goodison Park and the Blues are about to move to Bramley-Moore Dock, fans will want to see the same level of investment from the American at their new home.

And Dan Friedkin can use the new Everton Stadium to its fullest.

The Toffees’ new home on the dockside has been called a game-changer for the club. Compared to Goodison, matchday sales will be £40 million more each year. [8 July] Kevin Maguire.

That being said, the stadium can host events that aren’t related to football or other sports. This means that it could become a “365 destination” that makes money in many ways.

For now, the club has only properly looked into one option, but they are expected to do so soon: name the stadium itself. Right now, the project is just called “Everton Stadium.”

The fact that Friedkin and Toyota are working together to help pay for the renovation of FC Dallas’ home doesn’t mean that Toyota will have their name written all over Bramley-Moore Dock, but a deal to do so is still likely.

According to the Liverpool Echo (15 June), Castore, a company that makes football kits, has signed a starting partner deal with the club worth £20m per season. However, there is no evidence that this has anything to do with the ground.

Although Tottenham Hotspur Stadium could be used as a model for any new stadium built in Europe, it still doesn’t have a major sponsor. However, the Toffees are looking for ways to raise money, so don’t expect their new home to be called the Everton Stadium for too long.
