Erling Haaland confirms that his Manchester City colleague, age 28, is perpetually a source of annoyance to others.
Erling Haaland has now commented on Jack Grealish, a teammate of his from Manchester City.
The 23-year-old was representing the Premier League in a Friendship Test.
The Norway international was therefore tasked with providing a three-line description of the England international.
Haaland began by employing the phrase “winding people up” before further stating that Grealish is both “quite funny” and a “top” individual.
The No. 9 for Manchester City stated, “Enticing individuals. “You are an authority on that.”
Despite its brevity, the remark offered valuable insight into the conduct of Haaland and Grealish at the Etihad Stadium; the pair appear to be engulfed in adolescent foolishness, which is commendable in an era when the majority of footballers are robotic.
An additional point of interest could be the 28-year-old’s remark concerning the Norwegian.
Before including “goalscorer” and “good guy” on the list, Grealish selected “viking” as the initial word to characterize Haaland.
Clearly, Grealish and Haaland have an exceptional rapport in their personal lives; however, one might ponder the manner in which they mesh while playing.
Approximately one year after Grealish completed his £100 million transfer from Aston Villa, the Leeds-born striker arrived at the Etihad Stadium. Since then, the two have appeared in 52 games together for Manchester City.
During that time period, they have scored a total of five goals, with Haaland scoring each one.
In their 52 matches together, Manchester City have averaged 2.48 points, demonstrating that Haaland and Grealish are unquestionably quite effective when playing together under Pep Guardiola.
Jeremy Doku’s phenomenal form poses a significant threat to Grealish and his prospects of securing a starting position; however, this chemistry should be continued.
