Rio Ferdinand was told by Jamie Carragher that Manchester United’s amazing win over Liverpool might not be as important as people thought.

Rio Ferdinand was criticized by Jamie Carragher after Manchester United made it to the FA Cup semi-finals. Carragher used to play defense for Liverpool.

United beat Liverpool in a dramatic way to move on to the FA Cup semi-finals. Amad Diallo scored the game-winning goal in the 120th minute. Then Diallo was sent off because he got a second yellow card for taking off his shirt while he was celebrating.

Liverpool was still hoping to win the quadruple for current manager Jurgen Klopp before Marcus Rashford tied the game in the 112th minute. This made Liverpool’s hopes less likely. It looked like the game would go to a penalty shootout, but Diallo saved the day for Erik ten Hag’s team.

United now knows what will happen and will play Coventry City in the Championship at Wembley next month. Manchester City will play Chelsea in the final, and Carragher thinks Pep Guardiola’s team will win by “comfortably” beating Manchester United.

Ferdinand sent a tweet that said “Wembley!” and Carragher replied, “Relax [two laughing emojis].” In the end, Man City will easily beat you, and ETH will still be in charge next season. You’re not going to win!”

“Semi-final, if you want to go to the final, you have to win it,” ten Hag told ITV about the semi-final draw with Coventry City. “But we need to do our best.”

“Like you saw yesterday with Coventry, they did that for a very good team.” You have a great heart and mind. The game will be tough, but we want to make it to the final, so we need to do our best to prepare and play.

The semi-final match will take place on April 20th and 21st.
