Dyche is being looked at by Friedkin, and Conceicao is being considered as Everton’s new boss.
TalkSPORT says that Everton are going to make a move for Sergio Conceicao, the manager of Porto, to replace Sean Dyche at Goodison Park.
The news source said on its website on Tuesday (November 5) that the Blues see Conceicao as a forward-thinking hire that fits with Dan Friedkin’s goal for the club.
After last weekend’s 1-0 loss to Southampton, Dyche is back in the firing line on Merseyside. The next two games, before the November international break, could decide his future.
Another name has been added to the long list of candidates to lead Everton.
Fans of Everton must feel like every good boss in the world has been linked with a move to Goodison Park this season.
Goodison News broke the news first in October that Jose Mourinho and David Moyes, the former manager of Chelsea, are not being considered to replace Dyche. However, rumors about them still abound.
The names Graham Potter and Thomas Frank have also been brought up. It seems that a lot of Premier League knowledge is what the Toffees are looking for in a new manager, but looking outside of England might yield better results.
As a manager, Conceicao won a lot of games and titles in Portugal. He led Porto to three league titles and 11 big awards with the Primeira Liga team.
However, the 49-year-old led one of the best teams in the division. However, money is tight in Portugal, and he kept his team competitive in Portugal and Europe with a very small budget compared to the top five leagues.
Everton should look for a manager who plays a good type of attacking football and has the right tools to do the job.
There won’t be any changes to the manager until The Friedkin Group completes their plan to take over the Toffees. However, the board would be almost negligent if they didn’t do their research on possible candidates, since most people think Dyche won’t be at Goodison Park after this season.
If you want to move to the blue side of Merseyside, Conceicao is the best candidate. Everton should do everything they can to get him to take over.
