Dominic Calvert-Lewin is a contract breaker, and Sean Dyche says that Everton plan to deal with him.

To keep Dominic Calvert-Lewin and not lose him for nothing in the summer, Sean Dyche has said that he will not move him in January.

Even though Everton tried to get Calvert-Lewin to sign a new contract, he refused. The former England scorer will be free to leave in July. Dyche says that getting into the Premier League is the most important thing this season, even though Everton might get some money for him in January.

Their goal is to stay in the top flight before they move to their new home at Bramley-Moore Dock. They have been in the league since 1954. “For Everton Football Club, playing in the Premier League is the bigger prize in this case,” Dyche said.

“When I first got here, I was told, ‘You need to protect what we’re doing.’ That’s the most important thing. Along that path and time frame, we’ve had to bring in money. That’s been pretty clear. Spend less and bring in more, and of course, lower pay.

“However, trying to get money by giving away players at any cost is something we’ve never had to do, and it still won’t happen.” As of now, we still have choices to make, and I don’t see him leaving until at least the end of his contract, and hopefully longer. That’s all I can say.

Calvert-Lewin, who is 27 years old and has scored two goals in eight games this season, was supposed to move to Newcastle in the summer but the deal fell through. Even though American billionaire Dan Friedkin is supposed to finish his takeover in December, he wants to keep his options open.

Dyche knows where Calvert-Lewin is coming from and says Everton needs to respect it. “Probably that’s his choice,” the Blues manager said. “Perhaps it’s his agent telling him to wait. You’re right, I don’t know. That would be fair.

Wait and see how the club sees it, and all that kind of thing. It’s about him and the club in the bigger picture. He’s been here for a long time. His thought might be, “Which way is the club going?” Which way am I going? “What am I supposed to do?” I don’t see why that would be wrong.

Calvert-Lewin, who is in his ninth season with Everton, will lead the attack when they host Fulham on Saturday night. Dyche refused to leave him out even though his future is unsure. He said, “I don’t do that.” “That’s the rule: put on your shirt and play hard.” The rest will take care of itself.
